How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

In November we were awarded 35 KONGS used as enrichment toys to our pets.

This funding will provide important mental stimulation and comfort to shelter animals awaiting their new homes.

100 +! Because KONGS are durable and able to be sanitized, we will be able to continue using them for our pets.

Rosie has been a long-term pet awaiting adoption at our facility. Rosie has a hard time being adopted as she becomes very protective over her owner; making finding her adoptive match a challenge. Rosie loves her KONG toys and they provide mental stimulation and comfort to her (and she is not possessive over her KONG). She becomes very playful with the KONGS and will toss them in the air and catch them as well as quietly chew on them. We are thankful that KONG provided this opportunity to give our pets some added comfort as they await their perfect match.
