Mutty Paws Rescue: Emergency Medical Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Because of this grant, we were able to provide Cha Chi with much-needed care, including the biopsy and removal of her eye, which could not be saved, as well as needed medicines and more.

Meet 6-year-old Cha Chi. Our best guess is that she is a Yorkie mix.

Cha Chi came to us in horrible condition after her owner ended up incarcerated. Her eye was so bad we had to remove it. Her other eye has a floating lens, which requires daily eye drops. She takes the eye drops very easily and they cost roughly $20 per month.

Cha Chi is now healthy and is waiting to be adopted.

You can meet Cha Chi here.
