How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The Kongs given to us completely turned around our dogs' environment and happiness. We gave some of our log-term residents the job of chewing a new toy and they were over the moon.

It showed adopters the potential of animals who didn't normally look like they wanted homes.

One dog, Sage, was so happy with the peanut-butter-filled toy she was playing with, an adopter saw her in the moment and took her home. Sage had been with us for almost a year and had been overlooked so many times.
