The donation was used to lower the adoption fee. This helped the adopters to cope with the financial responsibility involved with bringing the new pet into their lives.

The lowered adoption fee allowed for a pet to be adopted so there was room to save another pet from euthanasia at [an open-admission] shelter.

The adopter for the sponsored pet fast-tracked their adoption and the adoption went smoothly. This helped get her out of the shelter and into her hew home and continue her treatment of and recovery from heartworm disease. The recovery was shorter and she is now a happy family member living in her home with her family.
