We used the grant to purchase 10 cases of prescription food and 12 months of flea/tick preventative for Tiger and Lily, our senior shih tzus.

Tiger and Lily were a bonded pair of 12-year-old shih tzus who lost the only home they’d ever known when their owners were placed in assisted living. With the assistance of this grant, RAIN was able to provide 12 months of supplies to the new adopted family for these sweet dogs so they will have fewer worries for their care for at least a bit of time. The dogs were adopted and now live a fabulous life on the east coast of Florida.
