Cookie is a kitty who came to us when his owner passed away. He was very fearful and would lash out at his foster; at first she was afraid to do much aside from quietly speaking to him as she fed him each meal.

We encouraged play, and within two days she would enter the room and find the toys she’d left for Cookie scattered all over the room! He couldn’t resist playing and LOVED his Kong catnip!

He is now able to be pet and even picked up! He can still be a little nervous, but the changes he has made by bonding through play are unbelievable. His confidence has grown so much!
