Paws 4 Life: COVID-19 Operation Grant Report
How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
The money was used for the continuing care of the kittens/cats in our care. This care consisted of helping to pay for a couple of vet appointments for dental and ultrasound. It also supplemented the purchase of special diets for our older cats.
As mentioned above, we used the monies to help with the cost of a dental appointment and an ultrasound for two cats. The special diet is very costly. The grant helped to supplement the cost of this diet for our older cats.

Potato (first photo) is a 14-year-old male cat who came from a situation where the family he was with was evicted from their residence. There were three children at this residence and the decision was made that there were not enough funds to take care of Potato. He was surrendered to Paws 4 Life. He was fully vetted and was diagnosed with stage-4 kidney disease. This required a special prescription wet cat food. Potato was adopted out to a forever home and has been thriving in his new home.
