This grant allowed us to provide Brigid with much-needed critical care. She contracted a virus that sent her body temperature up to 107 degrees, which is life-threatening without medical intervention. We were able to bring her to the veterinarian for medicine and sub-cutaneous fluids, which helped her body fight the virus.

After four days of fluids and a lot of love from her foster family, Brigid made a full recovery and will be headed home with her forever family on Feb. 19.
