Front Range Freedom Rescue Inc: Kia Pet Adoption Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This wonderful grant of $1,500 immediately went to good use. We were able to reduce adoption fees of 12 adult cats who had been waiting a long time or were injured in some way (missing an eye or a leg).

Thanks to the Kia Adoption Grant, within 10 days we adopted out seven adults! This also freed up space at seven foster homes during kitten season, allowing us to save several litters from the streets.

Now we're working now to get the rest of these deserving kitties into their new forever homes.

How many pets did this grant help?

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Sweet little Bojangles (first photo) was found as a terrified kitten underneath a deck and taken into foster care once he was caught. It took him a while to know that humans are nice and they give you food and toys and other cats to play with.

Bojangles may never be a lap kitty, but he’s very appreciative of his human. He gets so excited about mealtime he gives you little nibbles on your calf. To top it off, he’s polydactyl and wears his mittens year-round!

Please give Bojangles another look! You can meet Bojangles here.
