From Facebook on Jan. 31, 2019: “Meet Amelia! Amelia came into the shelter as a single mom caring for her two pups. We were able to save the family and bring them to Colorado, where the puppies almost immediately found loving homes. Amelia has really flourished in her foster home. She is housebroken, great on a leash and super affectionate. She can be choosy with her canine friends but has yet to meet a human she doesn’t adore!”
Amelia was in rescue care for 378 days. Being a bully breed, she was overlooked until the Petfinder Foundation pushed her to the forefront with a waived adoption fee. A wonderful family was able to see her potential and gave her a forever home.
