How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Upon receipt of the wonderful boxes of KONG toys, they were immediately distributed to all our foster homes to provide fun and stimulation to all our fosters!

It was FANTASTIC! Our foster animals always welcome new toys, especially the KONGs for super chewers. But the fact that you can fill the KONGs with peanut butter and freeze them in order to provide hours if stimulation is beyond wonderful.

Jimmy is a pit bull mix with anxiety issues. By providing him a large KONG with frozen peanut butter, we were able to help Jimmy learn to soothe himself and to relax. Jimmy was adopted this past fall after a year of waiting.
