How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
We applied the grant funds towards the cost of putting up secure and safe fencing at our annex facility, which will accommodate 20 more donkeys.
With help of the grant, we have replaced 800 feet of barbed wire with post-and-field fencing. We have put up another 450 feet of steel 4-rail fencing and 220 feet of steel top-rail and field fencing. We have enough fencing left to build a 4-rail steel corral around the barn that is scheduled for construction in November.
