How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The Wahl shampoo was used to groom recent rescues to prepare them for placement in new adoptive homes.

All incoming rescues are bathed to help them be happy and healthy. Sometimes they are groomed multiple times, depending on condition or time prior to adoption. The donated shampoo helped our bottom line.

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

We received a lot of rescues during the fall when the shampoo arrived. Some were due to normal turnover of dogs, and some were due to the fall flooding in Colorado. All have been happily placed in forever homes or in our foster homes, with a few at our facility receiving ongoing care and training prior to placement.
