How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We have given the KONG toys to our shelter dogs and they love them! We put peanut butter in them.

It helped us immensely! We rely solely on the communties surrounding our shelter for donations, and while they are always very generous with food and other supplies, we hardly ever get toys as part of a donation. We love you guys for sharing your amazing toys with our shelter! We love the quality of KONG products!!!

How many pets did this grant help?

We gave a KONG toy to all of our furbabies and still have a few left over. We gave the toys to 40 dogs.

Every one of our dogs was helped by the KONG toys! You see, we have indoor and outdoor kennels; during the day we take all the dogs to the outdoor kennels and clean the indoor kennels. After the indoor kennels are clean we kind of set it up like a hotel: We put a nice big fluffy blanket in each kennel, and some dog treats and a toy for each dog going into that kennel. So when the dogs come back into the indoor kennels at night they have a nice warm bed, treats to eat and toys to play with. We were able to put peanut butter in the KONG toys and know that the dogs would be able to enjoy the KONG toys without choking on them or tearing them up.
