Kongs are part of our daily routine at Placer County Animal Services and it feels like we can never have enough of them. Volunteers and staff clean, stuff, freeze and pass out Kongs each day to provide necessary enrichment for our shelter dogs. Our large dogs get the most benefit from daily enrichment using Kong toys, as the Kongs provide mental and physical stimulation during hours when the dogs are in their kennels. Customers also love watching the dogs enjoying their Kongs each day.
