Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

This grant supported the adoption fee of $200 for Prince, one of our rescued senior dogs. Additionally, we could send him off to his forever home with some eye medication (needed for life) and his special food. He had been with us for a long while, and we know that this grant, which covered these specific costs, helped entice his forever parents.

Thirteen-year-old Prince came to us after having spent his entire life in a backyard — unloved, neglected, and in need of medical attention. He required significant care, which we provided to him over the course of many months. By the time he was adopted, he was considered a healthy boy, other than needing medication for his eye. He is now living in San Francisco with his mom and dad, a super-spoiled “Prince of Pacific Heights” (fourth photo)!

We are very grateful for this grant — thank you so much.
