How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
We used this grant to purchase vaccines for the kittens in our care. We have been bombarded with kitten season, and have had to spend a considerable amount for their vaccines.
It helped make sure that the cats in our care were properly vaccinated before finding their forever homes!

Meet Millie (first photo)! This sweet girl rocks thigh-high boots in the back and little ankle booties in the front with her tuxedo coloring. Though she acts brave, Millie sometimes needs some reassuring nuzzles. Her big, green eyes are full of love and adventure. She also enjoys exploring and wrestling with her sister, and is a big fan of blanket tunnels and pillow caves. Once she gets to know you, don’t be surprised if she gets close to sniff you on the nose and starts to purr.
Meet Luna (second photo)! Named after Luna Lovegood, this kitty has beautiful Siamese coloring and the brightest blue eyes you’ll ever see. Sometimes you’ll catch her gazing up at the sky curiously or pouncing at specks of light. Luna loves to wrestle with her sister, explore new places, and play with her toys. This clumsy little girl is tough and doesn’t let her frequent tumbles and bumps slow her down. While she does enjoy people, you’re more likely to see her running around than snuggling at this age.
These babies were in foster care when we were able to vaccinate them. We require all animals to stay in foster care until they are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. The vaccines this grant paid for helped vaccinated babes like this!
They’re spayed, vaccinated (indoor-only), eating a wet/dry food combo, and are around 8-10 weeks old. Both are very used to being handled and are great with my playful, medium-sized dog. These sisters will be available through Priceless Pet Rescue (Costa Mesa) and have wonderful, unique personalities.
