Cat Tales Rescue: Senior Pet Adoption Assistance Grant Report
How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
This grant has helped the adopter with current medical expenses and will help with future medical expenses.
The adopter already had all the supplies for Dough Boy, who is now Kitty Kitty. Due to him being 15 years old, the grant is being used for medical care and food. Because Kitty Kitty was a senior cat, we told the adopter that we would take care of all of his medical expenses beyond the $1,000 grant.
Kitty Kitty and his new mommy have an incredible bond. She really loved Kitty Kitty, and the only thing that was holding her back from adopting him was any future medical expenses.
I am so happy that the grant we received took that out of the equation and gave him such a loving mommy. You inspired us to go beyond the $1,000 because this is the home that Kitty Kitty deserved. It was such a great feeling letting the mommy know that there was no adoption fee and no worries about medical bills.

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.
This grant helped Dough Boy, now called Kitty Kitty.
He was adopted by a single person who loves him more than anything. She has loved him for several months, but just could not adopt him due to being a young, single person in today’s economy.
Kitty Kitty is almost 16 years old now and he will be requiring medical expenses. This grant allowed his adopter to take the money part out of the equation, which allows both of them to live happily ever after.
