The Kia Pet Adoption grant helped sponsor a free adoption day event at Pasadena Humane. By the end of the day, we had a total of 70 animals adopted, including 25 dogs, 43 cats, and two critters.

The free adoption event helped find Emperor Kuczo, a 5-year-old brown tabby, his new forever family. Emperor Kuczo came to us two months after his owner passed away.

Unfortunately, due to a hoarding situation, Emperor Kuczo had been hiding from everyone. By the time he was found, he was scared, hungry, and so thin! He was rushed to Pasadena Humane, where he spent some time in our ICU, healing and learning to trust again.

Emperor Kuczo was the last animal of the day to get adopted at our free adoption day! He is now living his best life with his new forever family!
