Several

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

One of the sponsored pets was Oreo. From Facebook: “Oreo’s siblings tried to nurse on him when they were younger and now it is very difficult for him to pass urine. Being so young and small, at first they were not sure he could be helped at all, but U.C. Davis has a technique that should fix him up! Stockton shelter stepped up to help this little guy!! UPDATE: Surgery was this morning and went as planned! They just called, he woke up fine and ate and is ‘being his normal kitten self’ and on pain meds. He hasn’t peed yet that she knows of. They will update again in the morning. If he is peeing as he should be, he can discharge and come on home Friday!”
