How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The funds from this grant were put towards a stock-up of supplies that were becoming increasingly hard to find due to the Covid surge in demand for cleaning products.

For the first three months of the Covid pandemic, we did not have to worry about hunting down essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, bleach, disinfectants, etc.

All pets at our facility received quality care and a safe and healthy environment through our stocked supplies of sanitation products. This grant in particular helped Juliet and her eight babies (first photo). Juliet and family were all left in a yard when their family moved away. Juliet gave birth alone and scared, but was brought to Rockstar Rescue the very next day. This grant helped provide a large baby pool to whelp her litter and all the cleaning supplies necessary to keep their enclosure clean and sanitary.
