Madeline (first photo) had been with us since January as a nursing mother who was very fearful of all the new people, especially people being around her babies.

She finished caring for her puppies and then we set about trying to find a good home for her. She needed some confidence-building and some training in order to find a family.

Thanks to her waived fee with this Petfinder Foundation Kia grant, we were able to find a family that could dedicate its resources to getting her the training and enrichment she needed to thrive.
