HSPC was able to adopt 15 pets during our low-cost adoption event. This grant helped to pay for the vetting of these pets and allowed us to offer them for adoption at a reduced fee.

Chrissie (first photo) was adopted during this event. Chrissie had been left on our premises and was with us for seven months.

While a sweet girl, she is quite strong, and many potential adopters were intimidated by that. With her also being a black dog and almost 5 years old, she was overlooked again and again.

With the additional promotion and reduced-fee adoptions, we were able to find Chrissie the home she deserved!
