A sponsorship of $25 received in January 2015 for Max, an adult long-haired dachshund who came to us as a stray.

The sponsorship of Max helped with his adoption to his approved adopter, who was then kind enough to "pay it forward" to help yet another adopter.

Max was a wonderful little long-haired dachshund found dumped on a state road near an Interstate. No one ever came for him. With the help of the sponsor’s donation, he was only with us a little over two weeks and was adopted by a previous adopter of ours who has a special affinity for dachshunds. That adopter then “paid it forward” because of the sponsorship to help yet another adopter and pet.
