How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Because of this grant, we were able to reduce our adoption fees on all of our adoptable pets. Many of our adopters appreciated the lower fees, and not only did many of our pets get adopted because of this grant, it provided an open cage for the next one to be adopted.

Gravy (first photo), a common brown dog, was entered into our shelter in March of this year. He was a sweet baby who loved other dogs and people, but just got passed by.

In August, he was adopted by a family that adopted another dog from us in May who had been one of Gravy’s best friends. They are living their best lives now!
