This grant helped by supporting the needs of our special-care animals. Many of the pets we receive have special medical needs that must be maintained to support their daily health requirements.

We are treating 16 pets daily currently.

Ghost is one of the current canines we have that was a special-needs case. Ghost came in with a really bad skin condition that had been misdiagnosed. We have had to do daily treatments and many visits to the veterinarian. He is currently going through a series of treatments to improve his immune system to help him find a way to overcome this chronic condition. He is such a sweet dog that has had to endure problems since he was a puppy, but his wonderful personality has never failed him to charm everyone he meets. He is gentle and very smart and will make an excellent family pet.
