Lucy's Story
Meet
Lucy, a vivacious little girl who was rescued from the side of the road at a truck
stop in West Virginia. Thanks to
the help of the Braxton County Animal Shelter and a grant from the Petfinder.com
Foundation, Lucy was transported to the Northeast where she found her forever
home. She is happy, healthy and living in Pennsylvania with her big furry
sister, Hannah and her human parents.
In 2010 and 2011, the Petfinder.com Foundation awarded over 10 million dollars in grants to thousands of animal shelters and rescue groups. Over 95% of our funds go directly back to homeless pets. Take a moment to think about that. Thanks to your generosity over the years, we have the extraordinary opportunity to affect positive, permanent change on the lives of homeless pets everywhere!
